Yes, yes we know your deodorant smells nice, but hopefully nobody is asking you to lift up your arms to get a good whiff. Body sprays exist to help your body smell good overall and also hydrate your skin. They are a little less intense than cologne, and a lot of guys like how subtle spray is.
Like with any product, there is actually a way to use body spray in order to maximize its “oh, so fresh” aroma, so let us educate you a little.
A short body spray lecture
Using body spray can be an easy part of any man’s daily routine, but it’s actually the most effective when sprayed right after a shower.
So, we know every morning routine is a little different, but for simplicity reasons, let’s say your morning involves the following:
- waking up
- jumping in the shower

- drying off
NOW PAUSE.
At this point, your body is awake, clean, fresh, and your pores are open. You might be sitting here reading this asking, why are my pores important? Well, Mr. Snarky, when you get into a shower, odds are you’re using water that is warm, and your pores will open up in this environment. Your pores absorb things, so now is the optimal time to spray.

Holding it a few inches away from your body maximizes the effect of the spray application and will give you full coverage.
After ensuring your body is covered in a thin mist, take a moment and rub it in. Our spray is quick-drying and sprays on clear, but we still recommended waiting a few minutes before getting dressed right away. This will really allow the mist to soak in and will maximize the scent as well. Use the extra time to trim your beard, do your hair, shave your face, walk around your house naked, whatever you need to do. Just give it a few minutes.
Then, get dressed because you’re a full-grown man and you probably have something resembling a responsibility or two today.
